Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Dabba Chicken Recipe

  • Boneless chicken cut into pieces and boiled 500 grams

  • Oil 1 tablespoon

  • Butter 1 tablespoon

  • Green chillies finely chopped as required

  • Black pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1/2 bunch

  • Green capsicum chopped 1 medium

  • Salt to taste

  • Macaroni boiled 200 grams

  • Eggs 4

  • Milk 2 to sprinkle

  • Tomatoes sliced 3 medium

  • Ghee 4 tablespoons

Method

Step 1

Preheat the oven at 180°C. Heat oil and butter in a non-stick pan. Add chicken with one cup of water and mix well. Add green chillies, black pepper powder, coriander leaves, green capsicum and salt and mix well and cook for two minutes.

Step 2

Add macaroni and mix well. Remove the pan from the heat and mix well. In another add eggs, milk and salt and beat well. Arrange the chicken and macaroni in a baking dish.

Step 3

Spread tomatoes over it.Pour the egg mixture and heat ghee in a non-stick pan and add on top of the eggs. Cover with foil and bake in preheated oven for fifteen to twenty minutes.

Step 4

Serve hot with chapati or parantha.
