Ingredients for Curried Chicken Rice Recipe

  • Curry powder 1 tablespoon

  • Boneless chicken cut into juliennes 100 grams

  • Rice boiled 2 cups

  • Oil 1 tablespoon

  • Garlic cloves chopped 8-10

  • Onion chopped 1 medium

  • Fresh red chillies 2

  • Salt to taste

  • Soy sauce 1 teaspoon

  • Chicken stock as required

  • Fresh coriander stems 8-10

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons

  • Fresh coriander sprigs for garnishing


Step 1

Heat oil in a non-stick wok. Add garlic and sauté well. Add onion and sauté for a minute.

Step 2

Chop red chillies and too the pan and sauté for a minute. Add curry powder and sauté for a minute.

Step 3

Add chicken and sauté for 2 minutes. Add salt, soy sauce, mix well and cook.

Step 4

Add 2 tablespoons chicken stock, mix well and cook till the stock is absorbed.

Step 5

Chop coriander stems and add along with rice. Toss well.

Step 6

Add chopped coriander and toss well.

Step 7

Garnish with coriander sprig and serve hot.
