Ingredients list for Christmas Coleslaw

  • 1 small Purple cabbage shredded
  • 1 small Green cabbage shredded
  • 3 teaspoons Walnut kernels crushed
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon French Dressing
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon White pepper powder
  • 2 inch stalk Celery,chopped
  • 1/2 medium Apple cut into thin strips

Method

  1. Place the cabbages and two tablespoons of crushed walnuts in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, mix together the mayonnaise with the French dressing, salt, white pepper powder and celery.
  2. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture. Add the apple and toss gently to mix. Serve, sprinkled with the remaining crushed walnuts.
