Ingredients
- 1 small purple cabbage, shredded
- 1 small green cabbage, shredded
- 3 teaspoons crushed walnut kernels
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon French dressing
- Salt to taste
- 1/8 teaspoon white pepper powder
- 2 inch celery stalk ,chopped
- 1/2 medium apple, cut into thin strips
Method
- Place the cabbages and two tablespoons of crushed walnuts in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, mix together the mayonnaise with the French dressing, salt, white pepper powder and celery.
- Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture. Add the apple and toss gently to mix. Serve, sprinkled with the remaining crushed walnuts.
