Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Chicken Stuffed Chilli Recipe

  • Chicken mince 1 cup

  • Green chillies slit and seeded, 10-12 large

  • Salt to taste

  • Crushed black peppercorns to taste

  • Red chilli flakes 2 teaspoons

  • Onion finely chopped 1 medium

  • Garlic 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon


Step 1

Preheat oven at 180ºC.

Step 2

Take chicken mince in a bowl. Add salt, crushed peppercorns, red chilli flakes, onion, 1 tablespoon chopped garlic and thyme leaves and mix well.

Step 3

Prick chillies with a fork.

Step 4

Take olive oil in another bowl. Add 1 teaspoon chopped garlic, salt and crushed peppercorns and mix well. Add chillies and rub well.

Step 5

Stuff the chillies with the chicken mixture and place on a baking tray. Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.

Step 6

Serve hot.
