Ingredients list for Cherry Halwa
- 500 grams Cherries pitted
 - 2 tablespoons Ghee
 - 2 tablespoons Semolina (rawa/suji)
 - 3 tablespoons Sugar
 - 4 tablespoons Khoya/mawa grated
 - 1 tablespoon Almonds chopped
 - 1 tablespoon Pistachios chopped
 - 1 tablespoon Cashewnuts chopped
 - a pinch Green cardamom powder
 - for garnishing Rose syrup 3 tablespoons +
 
Method
- Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add semolina and sauté till light brown.
 - Add cherries, mix well and cook till cherries are soft and pulpy.
 - Add sugar, khoya, almonds, pistachios, cashewnuts, cardamom powder and rose syrup. Mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes.
 - Serve hot garnished with rose syrup and pistachios.
