Ingredients list for Cheesy Achari Chicken

  • 250 grams Boneless chicken cut, 2 inch pieces
  • ½ cup Mozzarella cheese grated
  • 2-3 tablespoons Pickle masala
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Crushed black peppercorns
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic chopped
  • 1 inches Ginger finely chopped
  • 2 medium Onions sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • ½ teaspoon Red chilli flakes
  • 1 medium Green capsicum chopped
  • 2 tablespoons coriander leaves finely chopped

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180° C.
  2. Take chicken in a bowl. Add salt, crushed peppercorns and pickle masala and mix well.
  3. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic and ginger and sauté for 30 seconds. Add onions and sauté till golden.
  4. Add marinated chicken, mix and cook till ½ done. Add chilli powder and mix. Add chilli flakes and green capsicum, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes.Add coriander leaves and mix.
  5. Transfer the chicken mixture into the glass baking dish and spread mozzarella cheese on top.
  6. Put the dish into the preheated oven and bake for 5 minutes.
  7. Serve hot.
