Ingredients list for Besanwali Hari Mirchi

  • 1 cup Gram flour (besan)
  • 8-10 Green chillies (Bhavnagri)
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Dried mango powder
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • ½ teaspoon Turmeric powder

Method

  1. Dry roast gram flour till fragrant. Add dried mango powder, salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder and red chilli powder and mix well.
  2. Add ½ cup water and mix well. Switch off the heat and cool.
  3. Slit and deseed the chillies. Fill a portion of the gram flour mixture in the green chillies.
  4. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, place stuffed chillies and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  5. Serve hot.
