Ingredients list for Aloo Ka Bharta

  • 7-8 medium Potatoes boiled , peeled and mashed
  • Mustard Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Mustard oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 3-4 cloves Green garlic chopped
  • 2-3 Green chillies chopped
  • 3 Spring onions chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 2 stalks Spring onion greens chopped

Method

  1. Heat oil in a pan.
  2. Add cumin seeds, green garlic and green chillies and sauté for a minute. Allow the tempering to cool.
  3. In a bowl mix mashed potatoes with spring onions. Add the tempering and mix well.
  4. Add salt, red chilli powder and mix well.
  5. Add spring onion greens, mix and serve.
