Ingredients
- ⅓ cup whisky
- 8 chicken wings, halved
- Salt to taste
- Crushed black peppercorns to taste
- 2-3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
- 2 teaspoons mustard paste
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Chopped chives to sprinkle
Method
- Take chicken wings in a bowl, add salt, crushed black peppercorns, brown sugar, garlic, mustard paste, hot sauce, apple cider vinegar and whisky and mix well. Refrigerate for 30-40 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan, add chicken wings and butter and cook for 3-4 minutes. Flip and cook for 2-3 minutes more. Transfer into a plate and set aside.
- Add the remaining marinade to the same pan and cook on medium heat for 3-4 minutes.
- Add the cooked chicken wings and cook for 3-4 minutes on medium heat.
- Transfer into a serving plate, sprinkle chives and serve hot.
