Ingredients
- 5 cups almond milk
- A generous pinch of saffron + for garnish
- 12-15 almonds
- 12-15 cashewnuts
- 12-15 pistachios
- 4-5 green cardamoms
- ½ cup sugar
Method
- Heat a pan, add almonds, cashewnuts, pistachios and green cardamoms, mix and roast on medium heat for 4-5 minutes.
- Add saffron, mix and roast for 1 minute on low heat. Transfer the mixture onto a plate and let it cool completely.
- Transfer into a grinder jar, add 1 cup almond milk and grind to a fine mixture.
- Heat a pan and transfer the ground mixture into it. Add 4 cups almond milk and sugar, stir continuously and let the mixture come to a boil.
- Transfer the mixture into a jug and then pour into individual serving glasses, sprinkle saffron strands and serve hot/warm.
