Ingredients
- 2 cups idli rice
- Salt to taste
- Oil for greasing
- Onion half for greasing
- Ghee for drizzling
- Coconut chutney to serve
Method
- Take idli rice in a large bowl, add water and wash thoroughly for 2-3 times. Add fresh water and let it soak for 6-8 hours. Drain and transfer the rice into a mixer jar.
- Add 1 cup water and grind to a fine paste. Transfer into a large bowl, add 1 cup water and salt and mix till well combined.
- Heat a non-stick tawa.
- Dip half an onion in some oil and grease the tawa with it. Drizzle the batter and spread it evenly to make a thin layer. Cover and cook on medium heat for 1-2 minutes. Drizzle ghee and fold the neer dosa in a triangle. Make more dosas similarly.
- Arrange on a serving plate. Serve with coconut chutney.
