Ingredients
- Pro V Omega Boost Trail Mix to sprinkle
- ½ cup gram flour (besan)
- ⅓ + ½ cup ghee
- ¾ cup sugar
- Slice of lemon
Method
- Take a greased loaf tin which is lined with butter paper. Sprinkle Pro V Omega Boost Trail Mix generously and spread evenly in the base of the tin.
- Sift gram flour into a bowl, add ⅓ cup ghee and mix well.
- Heat a non-stick pan, add ½ cup ghee and let it melt over low heat.
- Heat another non-stick pan, add sugar and ½ cup water, squeeze lemon juice into it and cook till the syrup reaches 1 string consistency.
- Lower the heat, add the gram flour mixture to the ghee and mix well. Once the mixture comes to a gentle boil, start adding hot ghee little by little. Cook low medium-low heat, stirring continuously, for 15-20 minutes or till all the ghee is absorbed.
- Transfer the mixture into the greased loaf tin and allow to cool completely. Set aside for 2-3 hours.
- Demould, remove the butter paper and slice. Arrange the slices on a serving platter and serve.
