Ingredients
- 1½ cups rice flour
- ½ cup semolina (rawa)
- 3 green chillies, chopped
- 1½ teaspoons red chilli powder
- ¾ teaspoon turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 1½ cups milk
- Oil for cooking
- Coconut chutney to serve
Method
- Take rice flour in a bowl, add semolina, green chillies, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt and mix well.
- Add milk and 1½ cups water and mix well. Set aside for 10-15 minutes.
- Heat a non-stick tawa. Spread a ladleful of batter evenly. Drizzle some oil around and cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes or till the underside is golden brown.
- Flip and cook on other side for 2-3 minutes more. Use up the remaining batter similarly.
- Serve hot with coconut chutney.
