Ingredients
- 2 cups gram flour (besan)
- Salt to taste
- ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon carom seeds (ajwain)
Method
- Dry roast gram flour on low heat for 10 minutes or till any moisture from the gram flour is gone.
- Sift the roasted gram flour, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and baking soda directly into a parat.
- Add the carom seeds and mix well. Allow the mixture to cool down to room temperature.
Store in an airtight container and use as required.
