Healthy Chocolate Oats Cookies

Ingredients 

  • ½ cup chopped dark chocolate
  • ½ cup oats flour
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flax seeds powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • ¾ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Method 

  1. Preheat oven to 180° C.
  2. Take peanut butter in a bowl, add brown sugar and beat with an electric beater till the sugar melts completely.
  3. Take flax seed powder in a small bowl, add 3 tablespoons water and mix well and set aside for 5 minutes.
  4. Add this mixture to peanut-sugar mixture and beat for 2 minutes. Add oats flour, rolled oats, vanilla essence and dark chocolate and mix well. Add baking powder and milk and mix till well combined.
  5. Divide this mixture into small equal portions, shape each portion into a ball and flatten it slightly to make a cookie. Arrange the cookies at equidistance on a lined baking tray.
  6. Keep the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  7. Bring out the tray from oven and allow to cool. Arrange on serving plate and serve.
