Ingredients
- Chopped assorted fruits (apples, kiwi, banana, black grapes, oranges) to serve
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon corn flour
- 2 tablespoons milk powder
- ¼ teaspoon edible yellow food colour, mixed with 1 tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 2 cups milk
- Fresh pomegranate pearls for garnish
- Fresh mint sprigs for garnish
Method
- To make the custard mixture, put 2 tablespoons sugar in a mixer jar, add corn flour, milk powder, edible yellow food colour and vanilla essence and grind to a fine mixture.
- Pour milk in a pan, add 1 tablespoon prepared custard mixture and whisk till well combined. Place the pan on heat and continue to whisk and cook for 5-7 minutes or till the mixture thickens. Add remaining sugar and mix well till it dissolves. Set aside to cool completely.
- Pour the custard into individual serving bowls, add a portion of the assorted fruits in each bowl and serve garnished with pomegranate pearls and mint sprigs.
