Ingredients
- 2 medium potatoes, peeled and grated
- 2-3 tablespoons roasted unsalted peanut powder
- 1 tablespoon toasted white sesame seeds
- ½ teaspoon black pepper powder
- 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- 1-2 green chillies, chopped
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
- Rock salt (sendha namak) to taste
- ¼ cup amaranth flour (rajgira)
- ¼ cup barnyard millet (samo) flour
- Oil for deep frying
Method
- Take potatoes in a large bowl, add peanut powder, white sesame seeds, black pepper powder, roasted cumin powder, green chillies, coriander leaves, rock salt, amaranth flour and barnyard millet flour and mix well.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Gently slide small portions of the mixture into hot oil and deep-fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Transfer onto a serving plate and serve hot.
