Ingredients
- 1 cup barnyard millet (vari / samo), soaked for 4-5 hours and drained
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 tablespoons sago (sabudana), soaked for 4-5 hours and drained
- Rock salt (sendha namak) to taste
- Ghee for drizzling
- Coconut chutney to serve
Method
- Put vari in a mixer jar, add yogurt, sabudana and rock salt and grind to a smooth mixture. Transfer into a large bowl and whisk well.
- Heat a non-stick tawa.
- Pour a ladleful of the batter and spread it in a circular motion to make a thin disc. Drizzle ghee all around and cook for 1-2 minutes. Fold in half and serve hot with coconut chutney.
- Make more dosas similarly.
