Ingredients
- 300 grams ready-made chicken tikka
- 8 multi-grain bread slices
- 1 medium carrot, grated
- 100 grams shredded cabbage
- 1 medium green capsicum, cut it into thin strips
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ½ teaspoon red chilli flakes
- Crushed black peppercorns to taste
- Salt to taste
- Butter for applying
- Iceberg lettuce leaves as required
Method
- Cut each chicken tikka into strips. Transfer this into a large bowl. Add carrot, cabbage, green capsicum, mayonnaise, red chilli flakes, crushed black peppercorns and salt and mix well.
- Apply butter on all the bread slices. Arrange some lettuce leaves on 4 bread slices. Place a portion of the chicken mixture over the lettuce leaves and spread it evenly. Cover with the remaining bread slices with the butter side facing down.
- Trim the sides, cut the sandwich into fingers. Arrange them on a serving platter and serve.
