Ingredients
- 300 grams boneless chicken breast, cut into ½ inch pieces
- Salt to taste
- ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper powder
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- ½ teaspoon vinegar
- 1½ cups refined flour (maida)
- A pinch of baking powder
- Oil for spraying
Method
- Take chicken pieces in a bowl, add salt, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, ginger- garlic paste and vinegar mix well.
- Sift refined flour, salt and baking powder into a bowl.
- Roll the chicken pieces in refined flour mixture and dip in ice cold water for 30 seconds.
- Roll in the refined flour mixture again. Keep the chicken pieces in a plate.
- Preheat the air fryer at 190° C for 2-3 minutes.
- Spray some oil on air fryer basket and arrange the chicken pieces in a single layer. Fit the basket into the air fryer and air fry for 6 minutes.
- Bring the basket out, flip the chicken pieces, spray some more oil and air fry for 6 minutes more.
- Bring the basket out, transfer the chicken popcorns into a serving bowl and serve hot.
