Ingredients
- 1 cup boiled and shredded chicken
- Boiled egg slices for garnish
- ½ garlic bread
- Butter for toasting
- ½ cup cream cheese
- 2-3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons mustard paste
- A dash of lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped pickled gherkins
- Black pepper powder to taste
- Arugula leaves as required
- Smoked paprika for sprinkling
- Edible flowers for garnish
- Chives for garnish
Method
- Thickly slice garlic bread.
- Heat a non-stick tawa, add butter, place the bread slices on it and toast for 2-3 minutes on medium heat. Apply butter on the upper surface, flip and cook on other side for 2-3 minutes more.
- Transfer boiled chicken into a food processor jar, add cream cheese, mayonnaise, mustard paste, lemon juice, salt, gherkins and black pepper powder and process to a fine paste.
- Transfer the ground mixture into a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle.
- Arrange the toasted bread slices on a serving platter, place a arugula leaf on each slice and pipe out a generous portion of the chicken on each slice.
- Arrange boiled egg slices on top, sprinkle smoked paprika, and garnish with edible flowers and chives and serve.
