Ingredients
- 8 cheese slices
- 2 teaspoon red chilli-garlic chutney
- 4 pavs¸ slit without cutting through
- 2 tablespoon butter + for toasting
- 2 tablespoons dabeli masala
- 1 tablespoon date and tamarind chutney
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves + for garnish
- Masala peanuts to serve
- Sev to serve
Method
- Heat butter in a non-stick pan, add red chilli-garlic chutney and sauté till fat separates.
- Add dabeli masala, date and tamarind chutney, salt, and coriander leaves and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Switch the heat off and transfer it in a bowl.
- Generously spread the prepared mixture inside the pavs.
- Heat butter in a non-stick tawa.
- Open the pavs and place them on the hot tawa with the masala side facing up. Place two cheese slices over each pav and fold it in half to make a sandwich. Toast on both sides till the cheese melts and the pavs turn crisp.
- Arrange the pavs on a serving platter, garnish with masala peanuts, sev, and coriander leaves and serve immediately.
