Ingredients list for Yellow Chilli Dip
- 3-4 Yellow chillies
- 4 tablespoons Hazelnuts
- 4 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1 large Onion chopped
- 5-6 cloves Garlic chopped
- 4-5 sprigs Fresh coriander leaves
- 1 large Tomato roughly chopped
- to taste Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Crushed red chillies
- 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
Method
- Crush the hazelnuts in a mixer and set aside.
- Heat two tablespoons of oil in a pan, add cumin seeds. When they begin to change colour, add onion and garlic and sauté. Crush the fresh yellow chillies in a mixer. Add to the onions in the pan and continue to sauté. Crush the tomato and coriander leaves in a mixer and add to the mixture in the pan and continue to sauté.
- Add salt and mix well. Add crushed hazelnuts and stir for a minute or two. Add crushed red chillies and turn off the heat.
- Transfer the mixture into a bowl and add lemon juice and the remaining olive oil.
- Mix and serve as a dip.
