Ingredients list for Thyme Paneer Sliders
- 400 grams Paneer (cottage cheese) cut into 1 inch cubes
- 8 Burger buns mini
- 2 tablespoons Fresh thyme chopped
- ½ cup Hung yogurt
- 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
- ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
- to taste Salt
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- to shallow fry Oil 2 tablespoons +
- 4 tablespoons Mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons Mustard paste
- a few Iceberg lettuce leaves
- 2 medium Tomatoes sliced
- 1 medium Onion cut into roundels
Method
- Put yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, thyme, turmeric powder, salt, lemon juice, two tablespoons oil in a bowl and mix well.Add cottage cheese cubes and mix well. Refrigerate for two to three hours.
- Heat some oil in a non-stick grill pan. Place the marinated cottage cheese cubes in it and grill till evenly done form all sides. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- Halve the buns horizontally and toast them on the same pan. Set aside.
- Mix together the mayonnaise and mustard paste in a bowl.
- Apply the prepared mayo-mustard on both sides of the buns. Place some lettuce on half of the base half of the buns and top with two grilled cottage cheese cubes.
- Put tomato slices and onion roundels on top. Cover with remaining bun halves and secure with toothpicks.
- Serve immediately with potato chips.
