Ingredients
- 4 cups cauliflower florets
- 2-3 tablespoons oil
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon asafoetida
- 4 green chillies, finely chopped
- 1 inch ginger piece, finely chopped
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 medium tomatoes, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
Method
- Heat oil in a kadai .Add cumin seeds, once they splutter add asafoetida, green chillies, ginger and sauté for two minutes.
- Add cauliflower, salt, turmeric powder and cook on a medium flame for five to seven minutes .
- Add tomatoes, red chilli powder, coriander powder and cook for another eight to ten minutes or until the tomatoes are completely cooked.
- Remove from fire. Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
