Ingredients
- 750 grams chicken cut into bite-sized pieces on the bone
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 green chillies, chopped
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
- Salt to taste
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon red chilli powder
- 1 tablespoon cumin powder
- Fresh coriander leaves chopped + to garnish
- Onion wedges to serve
- Lemon wedges to serve
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick tawa, add green chillies, onions, tomatoes and salt, mix and sauté till mixture softens.
- Add chicken pieces mix well and saute for 5-10 minutes Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder and salt and mix well. Add ½ cup water and mix well. Cover and cook till the chicken is completely cooked.
- Transfer to a serving platter, garnish with coriander and serve hot with onion and lemon wedges.
