Ingredients list for Stuffed Papad

  • 8 Papads
  • 2 tablespoons Potatoes
  • 2 teaspoons Ginger chopped
  • 3 Green chillies chopped
  • 3-4 medium Potatoes boiled, peeled and mashed
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Chaat masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Roasted cumin powder


  1. Heat 2 tbsps oil in a non stick pan, add ginger and green chillies and saute till fragrant. Add it to the mashed potatoes. Heat sufficient oil in a another pan.
  2. Add salt, chaat masala, red chilli powder, coriander leaves and roasted cumin powder to the potatoes and mix well.
  3. Dampen the papads slightly on both sides. Place a little potato mixture at one end of each papad and roll. Press the two ends to seal.
  4. Deep fry in hot oil till crisp and golden. Drain on absorbent paper. Arrange on a serving plate and serve immediately.
