Ingredients list for Stuffed Mirchi Pakoras

  • 8 large Green Chillies
  • 1 1/2 cups Gram Flour
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 3 teaspoons Red chilli powder
  • 2 teaspoon Oil
  • 1 medium Onion finely chopped
  • 10-12 medium Button mushrooms chopped
  • 1 t teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1/4 cup Bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup Processed cheese grated

Method

  1. Wash and slit green chillies carefully only on one side, remove seeds and keep aside.
  2. Take gram flour in a bowl and add salt to taste, turmeric powder and one teaspoon of red chilli powder.
  3. Add sufficient water to gram flour to form a batter of coating consistency.
  4. Heat one teaspoon of oil in a pan on medium heat, add onion and cook, stirring continuously, till onion turns light golden brown.
  5. Add mushrooms and cook for another two to three minutes, stirring frequently.
