Ingredients list for Stuffed Mirchi Pakoras
- 8 large Green Chillies
- 1 1/2 cups Gram Flour
- to taste Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 3 teaspoons Red chilli powder
- 2 teaspoon Oil
- 1 medium Onion finely chopped
- 10-12 medium Button mushrooms chopped
- 1 t teaspoon Cumin powder
- 1/4 cup Bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup Processed cheese grated
Method
- Wash and slit green chillies carefully only on one side, remove seeds and keep aside.
- Take gram flour in a bowl and add salt to taste, turmeric powder and one teaspoon of red chilli powder.
- Add sufficient water to gram flour to form a batter of coating consistency.
- Heat one teaspoon of oil in a pan on medium heat, add onion and cook, stirring continuously, till onion turns light golden brown.
- Add mushrooms and cook for another two to three minutes, stirring frequently.
