Ingredients list for Stuffed Bhuna Masala Kabab
- 1/2 cup Green Peas
- 10-12 Dry Breadcrumbs blanched and finely chopped
- 3 medium Potatoes boiled, peeled and mashed
- 65 grams Bhuna masala
- 3 tablespoons Oil
- 3 Green chillies finely chopped
- 1 inch Ginger finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- to taste Salt
- 5 tablespoons Dry breadcrumbs
- for dusting Cornflour
- For garnishing
- A lemon wedge
- Thin strips of red capsicum
- Thin strips of green capsicum
Method
- Heat 2 tbsps oil in a non-stick pan. Add green chillies and ginger and sauté for a minute.
- Coarsely grind peas and add to the pan. Add French beans, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and salt and mix well. Sauté for 1-2 minutes.
- Add bhuna masala, mix well and cook for a minute. Transfer the mixture into a bowl. Add breadcrumbs and potatoes and mix well.
- Heat the remaining oil in a non-stick tawa. Dust your palms with cornflour. Divide the mixture into equal portions, shape each portion into a tikki and place them on the tawa. Cook flipping side till evenly crisp on both sides.
- Place a lemon wedge, thin strips of red capsicum and green capsicum on a serving plate. Transfer the tikkis on the plate and serve hot.
