Ingredients list for Spicy Coriander and Chicken wontons
- 150 grams Chicken cut into small pieces,
- 8-12 Wonton wrappers
- 10-12 Fresh coriander sprigs
- 1½ teaspoons Soy sauce
- to taste Salt
- 3 teaspoons Green chilli sauce
- 1¼ teaspoons Garlic finely chopped
- 1 inch Ginger finely chopped
- 2-3 Green chillies finely chopped
- for deep-frying Oil
Method
- Take chicken pieces in a bowl. Add soy sauce, salt, chilli sauce, garlic, ginger and green chillies and mix well.
- Chop coriander and add. Mix well.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
- Place wonton wrappers on a worktop. Put a spoonful of the chicken mixture in the centre, apply water on the edges, bring them together, pinch to seal and make into wontons.
- Deep-fry wontons in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve hot.
