Ingredients list for Spicy Chicken
- 200 grams Boneless chicken breasts cut into slices
- 2 tablespoons Refined flour (maida)
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- ½ teaspoon Cumin powder
- ½ teaspoon Sichuan seasoning
- 1 inch Ginger finely chopped
- 5-6 Garlic cloves chopped
- to taste Salt
- + to deep fry Oil 1 tablespoon
- 3-4 Green chillies sliced
- 2-3 Spring onions with greens sliced
- Juice of 1 lemon
Method
- Take chicken slices in a bowl. Add the flour, chilli powder, cumin powder, Sichuan seasoning, ginger, garlic and salt, mix well and set aside to marinatefor ten to fifteen minutes.
- Heat sufficient oil in a pan. Deep-fry chicken slices till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Heat one tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan. Add green chillies and spring onion bulbs and sauté well.
- Add the fried chicken and lemon juice and toss well.
- Garnish with spring onion greens and serve hot.
