Ingredients
- 10-15 black peppercorns
- 1 inch ginger, sliced
- 1 tsp fennel seeds (saunf)
- 3 green cardamoms
- Ice cubes as required
- 1 tea bag
- ½ cup sugar syrup
- Lemon slices for garnishing
- Fresh mint sprigs for garnishing
Method
- Heat 1 cup water in a deep non-stick pan. Add cinnamon, peppercorns, ginger, fennel seeds, cardamoms and bring to a boil.
- Put some ice cubes into a large glass jar.
- Add tea bag in pan and boil for 2-3 minutes. Strain the mixture in a bowl and pour in the jar. Add sugar syrup and mix well.
- Pour into individual mason jars, garnish with lemon slices and mint sprigs. Serve chilled.
