Ingredients list for Shish Taouk-SK Khazana

  • 400 grams Boneless chicken legs cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup Yogurt
  • to taste Black peppercorns crushed
  • 1 teaspoon All spice powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • for brushi Oil
  • 4 Pita breads
  • to serve Mixed vegetable salad


  1. Put chicken pieces in a bowl. Add yogurt, crushed peppercorns, all spice powder, paprika, salt, garlic paste, lemon juice and olive oil and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Skewer chicken pieces onto satay sticks.
  3. Heat a griller and brush with some oil. Place pita breads on it, cover and grill till grill marks appear on both sides. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. Place skewers on the griller, cover and grill till chicken is fully cooked.
  5. Serve hot with pita breads and salad.
