Shimla Mirch ka Achar Capsicums cooked with achari masala By Sanjeev Kapoor 21 Mar 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Green Capsicums, Dry Red Chillies Cuisine Indian Course Pickles, Jams and Chutneys Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Shimla Mirch ka Achar 2 medium Green Capsicums cut into small pieces 20 Dry Red Chillies stemmed 2 tablespoons Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon coriander leaves 1 tablespoons Cumin seeds 2 tablespoons Oil 2 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste 2 teaspoons Lemon juice to taste Salt Method Grind together red chillies, one teaspoon mustard seeds, coriander seeds and cumin seeds with water to a fine paste. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add ginger-garlic paste and and remaining mustard seeds and saute for a minute. Add the ground paste and saute for two minutes. Add capsicum, lemon juice and salt and cook for five to ten minutes or till capsicum gets cooked.
