Ingredients list for Shambhano

  • 2 tablespoons Carrot
  • 8-10 cloves Radish chopped
  • 3 Green chilli chopped
  • 3 large Tomato finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 4 medium Carrot cut into roundels
  • 4 medium Radish cut into roundels
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Rice flour dissolved in ½ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons coriander leaves chopped


  1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add garlic, green chillies and sauté for half minute.
  2. Add tomatoes, sauté for seven to eight minutes or until soft.
  3. Add turmeric powder and sauté for half minute. Add carrots, radish and sauté for two minutes.
  4. Add salt, rice flour mixture and pressure cook for two whistles.
  5. Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
