Shambhano Carrot and radish cooked with tomato gravy and rice flour By Sanjeev Kapoor 05 Aug 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Carrot, Radish Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Shambhano 2 tablespoons Carrot 8-10 cloves Radish chopped 3 Green chilli chopped 3 large Tomato finely chopped 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 4 medium Carrot cut into roundels 4 medium Radish cut into roundels to taste Salt 2 tablespoons Rice flour dissolved in ½ cup water 2 tablespoons coriander leaves chopped Method Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add garlic, green chillies and sauté for half minute. Add tomatoes, sauté for seven to eight minutes or until soft. Add turmeric powder and sauté for half minute. Add carrots, radish and sauté for two minutes. Add salt, rice flour mixture and pressure cook for two whistles.
