By Sanjeev Kapoor 08 Mar 2017 in Recipes Veg New Update Main Ingredients Rice flour, Refined flour (maida) Cuisine Maharashtrian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Quick Chakli 1 cup Rice flour ½ cup Refined flour (maida) a pinch Red chilli powder ½ teaspoon Carom seeds (ajwain) 1 tablespoon Butter softened 4 small piece Yogurt to taste Salt for deep-frying Oil Method Mix together rice flour, refined flour, chilli powder, carom seeds, butter, yogurt and salt in a bowl. Add sufficient water and knead to a soft dough. Put small portions of the mixture into a chakli mould and press out several chaklis onto a plastic sheet. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry the chaklis on moderate heat till light golden brown and crisp.Drain on absorbent paper and cool.
