Ingredients list for Pudina Paneer Pulao-SK Khazana
- 1 cup Fresh mint leaves
- 250 grams Cottage cheese (paneer) cubed
- 1 1/2 cups Basmati rice soaked and drained
- 2-3 tablespoons Ghee
- 1 inch Cinnamon
- 10-12 Black peppercorns
- 3-4 Cloves
- 2-3 Green chillies finely chopped
- 2 Medium onions sliced
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 cup Yogurt
- to taste Salt
Method
- Heat ghee in a deep non-stick pan, add cinnamon, peppercorns, cloves and green chillies, mix and sauté till fragrant.
- Add onions and sauté till lightly browned. Add ginger-garlic paste, mix and sauté for 2 minutes.
- Add mint leaves, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add ½ cup yogurt and mix well.
- Add cottage cheese, rice, salt and 3 cups water, mix well, cover and cook till the rice is fully done.
- Garnish with mint leaves and serve hot.
