Ingredients
- 1 cup prawns, shelled and deveined
- 10-12 garlic
- 1 inch ginger
- 6-8 red birds eye chillies
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1/2 medium onion cut into cubes
- 1/4 medium green capsicum chopped
- 1/4 small chinese cabbage
- 260 grams bhuna masala
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- to taste salt
- 2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves finely chopped
Method
- Chop garlic, ginger and red bird’s eye chillies in a chopper and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a non-stick kadai. Add chopped mixture and sauté till golden.
- Add onion and capsicum and sauté for a minute.
- Finely chop cabbage and add to the pan and sauté for 1-2 minutes
- Add bhuna masala, and sauté for a minute. Add soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, salt and prawns and mix well. Cook for 4-5 minutes or till the prawns are just done.
- Add coriander leaves and mix well. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot.
