Ingredients list for Peach Upside Down Cup Cakes
- 2 canned Peaches
- 1 1/2 cups Refined flour (maida)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon Clove powder
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 3/4 cup Buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons Peach puree
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 1 large Egg
- 1/4 cup Honey
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C. Cut peaches into 8 thick slices and put one slice in each of 8 muffin moulds.
- Sieve together refined flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, clove powder into a bowl. Add sugar and buttermilk and mix. Add peach puree, butter and mix. Add egg and mix.
- Drizzle honey equally over the peach slices in each mould. Pour the batter into the moulds till ¾ full. Arrange them on a baking tray and keep the tray in the preheated oven. Bake for 30 minutes.
- Take them out, cool slightly, turn them upside down on serving plates and serve.
