Ingredients 

  • 400 grams cottage cheese (paneer) grated
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2 green chillies chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chopped onion
  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • 1 fresh coriander sprig to garnish

Method

  1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a non-stick pan, add 1 tsp cumin seeds, and let them change colour. Add green chillies and onion, mix well and sauté till translucent.
  2. Add turmeric powder and mix well. Add cottage cheese and mix well.
  3. Add salt and fresh coriander, mix well. Cook for 2 minutes. Take it off the heat.
  4. Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with coriander sprig and serve hot.
