Ingredients list for Palak Thepla

  • 1/2 cup Spinach
  • 2 cups Whole wheat Flour
  • 2-3 Green chillies chopped
  • 3-4 cloves Garlic chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • a pinch Asafoetida
  • to taste Salt
  • as required Oil

Method

  1. In a bowl combine together whole wheat flour, spinach puree, green chillies, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, asafoetida, salt and sufficient water and knead a soft dough.
  2. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll them into thin theplas. Heat a non stick tawa and cook till golden brown on both the sides. Serve hot.
