Ingredients list for Palak Thepla
- 1/2 cup Spinach
- 2 cups Whole wheat Flour
- 2-3 Green chillies chopped
- 3-4 cloves Garlic chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- a pinch Asafoetida
- to taste Salt
- as required Oil
Method
- In a bowl combine together whole wheat flour, spinach puree, green chillies, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, asafoetida, salt and sufficient water and knead a soft dough.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and roll them into thin theplas. Heat a non stick tawa and cook till golden brown on both the sides. Serve hot.
