Ingredients list for Oats Mini Rotis
- ¾ cup Oats coarsely ground
- 3-4 tablespoons+ for dusting Whole wheat flour (atta)
- to taste Salt
- 1 teaspoon Chaat masala
- ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1 medium Onion finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
- for basting Ghee
Method
- Combine oats, whole wheat flour, salt, chaat masala, turmeric powder and chilli powder in a bowl and mix. Add onion, coriander leaves and mix well.
- Add some warm water and knead into semi soft dough. Cover with cling film and set aside for 15-20 minutes.
- Heat a non-stick tawa.
- Divide the dough into large equal portions.
- Dust worktop with some flour and roll out each portion into a thick sheet. Cut into roundels using a small cookie cutter.
- Roast each mini roti on the hot tawa, on low heat, turning sides and basting with ghee, till golden and crisp on both sides.
- Serve hot.
