This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 14 Apr 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Fish, Oatmeal Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 41-50 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Oatmeal Fried Fish 400 grams Fish boneless cut into 2 inch pieces 1 cup Oatmeal 2 tablespoon Red chilli paste 1 tablespoon Coriander powder 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste Juice of 1 lemon ½ teaspoon Turmeric powder ½ teaspoon Black pepper powder to taste Salt ½ Egg for shallow frying Mustard oil for servin 1-2 lemon wedges for servin Fresh mint sprigs 1 Green chilli slit for servin Spring onion green Method Put fish pieces in a bowl. Add red chilli paste, coriander powder, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, turmeric powder, pepper powder and salt and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 25 minutes. Beat egg in a bowl. Add beaten egg to the marinated fish pieces and mix well. Take oatmeal in another bowl. Heat sufficient mustard oil in a non-stick pan. Coat marinated fish pieces, one by one, in the oatmeal and place in the pan. Shallow-fry, turning sides, till well done and golden and crisp from both sides. Transfer onto a serving plate and serve hot with mint sprigs, lemon wedges, green chilli and spring onion flower.
