Ingredients list for Noodle Crusted Chicken Bites
- 400 grams Boneless chicken cut into thin slices
- 150 grams Instant Noodles crushed coarsely
- 2 packets Instant Noodles seasoning
- ½ tablespoon Dried mixed herbs
- to taste Salt
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder
- ½ teaspoon Red chilli flakes
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- to taste Crushed black peppercorns
- 2 Eggs
- Refined flour (maida) for rolling
- for deep-frying Oil
Method
- Take chicken pieces in a bowl. Add noodle seasoning, mixed herbs, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, chilli flakes, lemon juice and crushed peppercorns and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 10-15 minutes.
- Break eggs into a bowl. Add salt and beat well. Spread flour on a plate.
- Heat sufficient oil in a deep pan.
- Roll the marinated chicken in flour, dip in the beaten eggs and coat them with noodles.
- Deep-fry the chicken bites in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
