Ingredients list for Nasi Goreng
- 3 cups Cooked rice
- 250 grams Boneless chicken cut into thin strips
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1 medium Onion chopped
- 2 Green chillies chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic chopped
- 1 Leek chopped
- 1 teaspoon Coriander seeds
- 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
- 3 Eggs
- 250 grams Prawns (kolambi/jhinga) shelled and deveined
- 3 teaspoon Soy sauce
- to taste Salt
Method
- Break eggs in a bowl, add salt and whisk well.
- Heat a non stick pan and make omelettes. Slice into thin stripes and set aside.
- Heat oil in a wok, add onions, green chillies, garlic, and leeks. Saute till soft.
- Add coriander seeds and cumin powder. Saute for 2 minutes.
- Add chicken strips and toss for 5 minutes.Add prawns add cook for 3 minutes.
- Add cooked rice, omelette pieces, soy sauce and salt.
- Toss well and cook further for 5 minutes with little water. Serve hot.
