Ingredients 

  • 1½ cups refined flour (maida)
  • ½ cup gram flour (besan)
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 pinch baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon green cardamom powder
  • ¼ cup mixed nuts chopped
  • ¾ cup ghee melted

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180° C.
  2. Sift together refined flour, gram flour, powdered sugar, baking soda, baking powder and green cardamom powder into a mixing bowl.
  3. Add mixed nuts and ghee, mix well and knead into stiff dough.
  4. Divide the dough into equal portions. Shape each portion into medium sized cylinders and flatten it slightly. Arrange them on a baking tray.
  5. Keep the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove from the oven and let them cool down to room temperature.
  6. Serve or store in an airtight container.
