By Sanjeev Kapoor 27 Nov 2015 in Recipes Non Veg New Update Main Ingredients Mutton , Green Chillies Cuisine Hyderabadi Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 2.30-3 hour Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Mutton Assada 1 1/2 kilograms Mutton Green Chillies 5 Green chillies 1 inch piece Ginger 10-12 cloves Garlic 2 teaspoons Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon Black pepper powder 1 1/2 tablespoons Vinegar 3 tablespoons Oil to taste Salt 2 medium Onions sliced 2 Whole dry red chilli Method Clean and wash the mutton and cut into one and half inch pieces. Remove the stems and wash the green chillies. Peel and roughly chop ginger and garlic. Grind together green chillies, ginger, garlic, turmeric powder, pepper powder with vinegar. Prick the mutton pieces all over with a fork and rub the ground masala all over. Let it marinate for three hours. Heat oil and add sliced onions. Sauté till they are well browned. Add the mutton and continue to sauté till the mutton pieces are browned. Add red chillies, one cup of warm water and cover. Cook till the mutton is tender.
