Ingredients list for Murg Tikka Hari

  • 1 kilogram Chicken cut into ½ inch cubes
  • 10-12 Spinach
  • 1 bunch Mint leaves
  • 1 bunch coriander leaves
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Red chilli powder
  • 3 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup Thick yogurt
  • 1/2 cup Cream
  • 5 tablespoons Ginger paste
  • 5 tablespoons Garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon Garam masala powder
  • Oil for basting

Method

  1. Grind coriander, mint and spinach to a fine paste with sufficient water.
  2. Marinate chicken with salt, red chilli powder, lemon juice and set aside for fifteen to twenty minutes.
  3. Add coriander-mint-spinach paste to chicken. Add yogurt, cream, ginger- garlic paste, garam masala powder and mix well.
  4. Thread the chicken pieces onto skewers and grill on a barbeque for five to seven minutes.
  5. Baste with oil and cook again for five to ten minutes or until cooked.
  6. Serve hot.
