Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Cook time : 26-30 minutes

Ingredients for Murg Tikka Hari Recipe

  • Chicken cut into ½ inch cubes 1 kilogram

  • Spinach 10-12

  • Mint leaves 1 bunch

  • coriander leaves 1 bunch

  • Salt to taste

  • Red chilli powder 2 teaspoons

  • Lemon juice 3 tablespoons

  • Thick yogurt 3/4 cup

  • Cream 1/2 cup

  • Ginger paste 5 tablespoons

  • Garlic paste 5 tablespoons

  • Garam masala powder 1 tablespoon

  • Oil for basting


Step 1

Grind coriander, mint and spinach to a fine paste with sufficient water.

Step 2

Marinate chicken with salt, red chilli powder, lemon juice and set aside for fifteen to twenty minutes.

Step 3

Add coriander-mint-spinach paste to chicken. Add yogurt, cream, ginger- garlic paste, garam masala powder and mix well.

Step 4

Thread the chicken pieces onto skewers and grill on a barbeque for five to seven minutes.

Step 5

Baste with oil and cook again for five to ten minutes or until cooked.

Step 6

Serve hot.
