Ingredients list for Moongchana And Bulgur Salad

  • 1/4 cup Whole Green Gram soaked
  • 1/4 cup Chickpeas soaked
  • 1/4 cup Bulgur wheat soaked in hot water
  • 1 stalk Celery
  • 15-20 Almonds blanched and peeled
  • a few stalks Parsley
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tablespoons Raisins
  • 1 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Carrot shredded

Method

  1. Drain and cook moong and kabuli chana till just done but not mashed.
    Chop celery and put into a bowl.
  2. Add kabuli chana and moong.
    Drain and add bulgur.
  3. Halve almonds and add.
    Chop parsley and add.
  4. Add salt, raisins, lemon juice and extra virgin olive oil and mix well.
    Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with shredded carrot and serve.
