Ingredients list for Mixed Sprouts Poha

  • 2 cups Pressed rice (poha) soaked and drained
  • 2 cups Mixed sprouts (kala chana, moong and matki) boiled
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 2 Green chillies
  • 1 1/2 medium Onions finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • Juice of ½ lemon


  1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Roughly chop green chillies.
  2. Add mustard seeds to the pan and let them splutter. Add onions and sauté till translucent. Add green chillies and turmeric powder and mix well. Add mixed sprouts, pressed rice, salt, sugar and lemon juice and mix well. Cook for 4-5 minutes.
  3. Transfer the poha onto a serving plate and serve immediately.
